An Einherjar Goes to War

This is quite interesting, and I have to say the with every masterpiece you submit, it's gets hard and harder to figure out what was the motivation and meaning behind the picture. I must say that you have officially beat me! I simply cannot find anything that would explain the meaning/motivation behind this for at least me understand.
All I can do is sit back and admire the piece for what it is and it's brilliance. Congratulations on this piece making it into the Lion\'s Den!
